Sawan Mahotsav was organized in our College on 24th August 2023. On this occasion, Mehndi competition along with Rakhi making competition was organized among the studnets. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the students about this event. The program was inaugurated by the Hon'ble mayor Mrs. Aruna Shankar and director of the institution Mrs.Shivani Anand and college principal Dr. Anupama Gupta by lighting the lamp.

On this occasion, Mayor Aruna Shankar addresses the students by saying "Sawan Mahotsav is a tradition of our culture and month of sawan has also religious importance. We should never forget our culture because when we are close to our culture then only we come closer to our nature. Culture and nature are two sides of a coin and our institute has always been ready to keep its culture amazing."

Principal of the college, Dr. Anupama Gupta, addresses the students by saying "This festival is an important part of our culture and traditions which infuses a new energy in our life. Nature blooms in green colors which gives us new paths in our life. Through this festival, we should remember how beautiful our nature is and we have to protect it and we have to reduce pollution with our efforts and make dedication towards the flora and fauna."

On this occasion, all the teachers of the college Mr.Avinash Singh, Mr.Rakesh Dubey, Mr.Ved Prakash, Mr.Sujit Kumar, Mrs.Bina Maya, Mrs.Anjana, Mrs.Rekha, Mrs.Priya, Mrs.Akanksha, Mr.Vikas Tiwari etc. were present.

Program was hosted and conducted by Ms.Sakshi Gupta and Ms.Priya Pandey.

Along with this, Mehndi competition was organized in the College in which first place was given to Ms.Neha Karthik, second place was given to Ms.Shreya Kumud, third place was given to Ms.Sangini Kumud. In the Rakhi making competition, first place was given to Ms.Shobha Kumari, second place was given to Ms.Pragati and third place was given to Ms.Shruti and Ms.Anjali. A colorful program was presented in which dance drama, songs and dances related to Sawan were performed by several students.

All the trainee students of B.Ed and D.El.Ed registered their presence in the Sawan Mahotsav in which Ms.Shruti Kumari, Ms.Anjali Kumari, Ms.Alka Singh, Ms.Neha Karthik, Ms.Archana Tiwari, Ms.Neha Rani, Ms.Shobha Kumari, Ms.Kajal Rachana, Ms.Nikita Kumari, Ms.Beauty Kumari, Ms.Preeti Sonali, Ms.Johnny Khakha, Ms.Amar Pooja, Ms.Jyoti Priya, Ms.Anupriya Kumari, Ms.Suchita Kumari, Ms.Sumitra Kumari, Ms.Priyanka Laxmi, Ms.Neelima Tirki displayed the culture of Jharkhand by performing Dance.
