B.Ed Course Details

Considered to be the noblest profession, Teaching has always been one of the most popular career choices among students. However, to become a teacher at pre-nursery, nursery, primary, secondary and senior secondary levels in schools or to become a professor at the college/university level, aspirants need to possess the right qualifications.

B.Ed. is the bachelor’s degree undertaken to take up teaching as a profession in higher secondary schools. However, it is worth knowing that B.Ed. or Bachelor of Education is not an undergraduate degree and to pursue this course one needs to have completed her graduation. Thus, B.Ed. is a professional course and right after completing this course, students can get a job at high school level.

The duration of B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is 2 years whether you do it after your graduation or post graduation. After completing B.Ed. (after graduation or post graduation in any stream) you have a lot of scope to get job in private as well as government schools. You can get a teaching job as a permanent, temporary, part-time or full-time teacher as per your interest. With B.Ed. degree you can work in Schools, Education Department, Coaching Centers, Education consultancies, home and private tuitions, etc

Trainings: The students are given training along with their education of the course. This gives them the confidence in using their concepts and lessons practically while treating the patients. They are also given a topic of research during their course. For 01st year , 4 weeks training is provided in alloted govt schools and in 02nd year, 16 weeks training is provided in alloted govt schools. Please note these trainings are mandatory for every students.
